Fun fact: Bee keeping is the only "livestock" production thats actually a net positive for the environment and the bees.
Oysters farming?
Livestock is still better for the environment than soybean farming
The bulk of the global soybean production is being used as livestock food though, mainly for cows
@@kikio7959 what... what do you think the livestock are eating?
Eli seems very laid back but very intense. Like, very focused and able to do things quickly and respond quickly. Immaculate vibe.
Like a bee. They are pretty chill little friends, but they are very serious about their work.
Very immaculate, I'd love to know him!
he loves his little friends so much!
Kinda like Alex Honnold
I love how bold Zack has been at trying so many things. I know as he gets older it will become increasingly difficult to do so many things. But he is building his stories now to tell for years to come and never lose his ability to connect. ❤
Zach is an inspiration from being an introvert to sharing his story about his hair loss & the food he can’t consume, honestly this guy inspires me. 🥺
I want 1,000 episodes of Zach's bucket list, they're so fun
Lol Zach is only 33. He has a long, LONG time before his age affects what he can do.
@@amelia_rose_333he does have chronic illness that can impact him physically as he ages.
(Hopefully not… but it’s a distinct possibility)
I love how diverse the content is lately, thank you guys!
This!!!
Right? Especially with Zach he’s really impressing getting outside his comfort zone
This!!!!!

I know some people groan about missing the old stuff, but THIS is the kind of content I'm here for -- learning and experiencing new stuff with open minds and humor.
i am one of those people lol but i think that, though the title did a poor job of conveying it, this video was so similar in its essence to the best old video stuff in that they got to be one on one with an expert and work with an expert trying out that thing and both the guys and us the audience were able to learn through their trying! i love it so much! i just wish that maybe the made the title something like "one guy, trys, 40 million bees" or something idk just to indicate that the tenor of the video was a "try" video, i probably wouldve watched it way sooner than i did
Honestly, this video had real old school vibes about it. I loved it~
I actually like the new content I unsubscribed awhile back because it wasn’t my vibe now I think I will subscribe again ❤
@@Kitty_Kell I highly recommend. It's great, the guys are living their best life.
Thank you Eli, and other people like him, who keep bees alive and safe when there's such an imminent threat to the species.
Not meant to be hate at all but honey bees are domesticated and very different from wild bee species, which are actually the ones that are really struggling. Large populations of honeybees can actually outcompete native bees and harm them, but this can be avoided with management and smaller populations :)
thank you @@alexmosquera8271 I didn't know that.... I hope Eli is doing things right then!
@@gabiluch87 it looks like he is doing things pretty small time and putting a lot of love and care into it so I believe he is!
@@alexmosquera8271 awesome!
@@alexmosquera8271are you able to tell if the bees eli is farming are native to america or if they're european? i'd like to assume he's farming native bees but i am not educated enough to tell the difference between the two
as a bee keeper, thank you for showing that honey bees are not just going to outright attack for no reason. all bees are not aggressive and its important for people to know the difference to avoid being fearful and trying kill off important pollinators. also, some people pointed out that Eli is a little weird but in a good way, i can tell you, most bee keepers are lol. it takes a certain kind of person to willingly work with venomous insects lol.
What are you talking about? We're totally normal. We don't do weird things like sing to the hives or anything.
@@alisaishere or name our hives according to temprament (looking at you, "Brats") or be elated when unanticipated guests move into spare space...
@@bunhelsingslegacy3549 Oh yeah, that would never happen. Ever. Same with naming the Queen (I see you Freddie, my fat bottomed girl, with the happiest hive)
@@alisaisherethicc queen (literally)😍
My father has always wanted to do very small scale bee keeping as a hobby, and he is in fact quite weird lol
I really like this editing style with the voice over. It's like Zach is telling us a story. It's nice.
agree! i love the voice over of the guys i think its a wonderful way to keep their format fresh and the videos interesting even when the concept of trying something new is the same
Yes!!! I really liked this video. Good vibes!
I love my bees. I have 3 hives. :) It is so much fun and the best pets you can have
I love bees but like… from afar. I definitely feel scared to be around them, but I think they’re fascinating creatures.
I get it. It took me a while to stop fearing bees. I still have major fear of wasps and hornets, but bees tend to be chill as long as you don't mess with them.
@@MsAliciaRFr hornets and wasps are out for blood probably since they don’t die after stinging.
Me too. Super interesting, when on TV.
Totally get that. It’s a healthy respect of “you’re cool and you make good stuff, but please don’t crawl into my nose again thank you”
I LOVE this episode and would love to see glimpses of more “niche” or overlooked industries!
Yes! I love BTS/how stuff is made videos
I know the channel is “Try Guys,” but I’m just here for the occasional, refreshing, wholesome appearances of Rachel in the vids.
I like how chill Eli is. He seems so at peace, and I love that for him.
I'm really sad that honey wasn't the sponsor of this video. Loved Zach's commentary though, he's just great at storytelling!
But then he’d have to pay Try - it’s better this way, this video is essentially a long advert for the product anyway
@@redeye1016 I think this person meant the app, Honey. for the pun. not the actual product.
I'm honestly astonished that bees aren't on Zach's list of allergies
I love how awkward Eli is, honestly that’s cute 🥺🤣
Perhaps he just wants people to leave him 🐝
He didn't come across as awkward to me at all, haha. He came across as 100% confident in to who he is and what he likes - w/ a flair of weirdness. 😊😊
He really seems to care about what he’s doing and that’s so nice to see
@@Nevertoleave 🤣🤣
@@valarya isn’t weirdness/awkwardness kinda the same thing?🙄
With “rhymes with red” gone Zach is really coming out and bringing us really great content. I love this style of almost narrated learning videos. He’s still trying new things but it’s a fresh way of showing us! There’s a deeper respect to it that what’s his face never brought to the table
That's what I was thinking about too. Like all the comments are positive, but it might not "get enough views" and feels like a video that would have died a year ago at their company
i love this video style so much and i think really works to keep their aging up core audience/og listeners, bc its more narratively and intellectually stimulating/interesting, getting to see someone we enjoy educate us by having up close access to such cool niche things and pros like eli, and also the narration/story voiceover from zach also just allows us to get the zach in the video being fully present to learn and help us learn and then bring the funny parts over the voiceover and showcase that zach is a very funny guy and a very good storyteller
Eli's vibe is immaculate. I'd love to be so chill.
learning to be chill is part of working with bees, I'm still learning... my mom (my partner in crime) seems to have mastered it though, she had a bee get inside her veil last week and had to wait about ten minutes for some angry buzzy jerks to go away so she could let the trapped one out. I don't have that level of chill yet, so I always duct tape over that flap by the zippers so they can't get in.
His vibe is immaculate? Lol. Ok.
He radiates such a calm gentle energy I just want him to follow me around and emit vibes
I went beekeeping with my beekeeper friend once. We went to his hive out in the appalachian mountains. While we were checking on it a wild swarm came. It was wild. Bees fighting in a dense cloud for a good 45 minutes before they settled on who got to stay in the hive. We weren't wearing protection but the bees had zero interest in us. One of the top 5 coolest experiences I've had.
I've been keeping bees a couple years now and this year we really expanded our experiences, we caught a swarm in a tree, we had a swarm just move in to equipment we'd left empty, and we did a cutout (removed bees from behind the siding in a house), And we had one of our own hives swarm. Always new things to learn, new mistakes to make :)
Note to try staff, love this format of videos. The voice over, the small crew, I'm here for this. This is great
Eli was such a joy to hear and learn from!!
I loved this. I love seeing them go out to different professions or communities and just showing how different and cool they are, getting to learn about them is so fun. So happy to see Zach being brave and giving it %100 on trusting that even though it's new and different and that's scary, it's a way of life and you can do it if you give it a chance. Try
I really appreciate the vibe on this video. It’s weird to see Zach so toned down, but it really matches the tone needed for the video.
it weirdly felt natural to me to see this version of zach doing something like this being so toned down
Once again asking the Try Guys to please drop Better Help as a sponsor, because they sell people's medical data and it's really disheartening that the guys, who I know are big mental health advocates, haven't researched this company better. Thanks for the lovely bee video.
I second this! Better help are an awful company. There's a lot of horror stories out there about it that doesn't involve selling medical data
Unfortunately they may have signed a contract with them as a sponsor to do x number of ads over y time. But I agree in that they should drop them!!
I think this was disproven
❌❌❌better help ❌❌❌
Eli is so chill... so perfect for his profession
brave king Zach. That one was just a fly, but the bees are scary and we're proud of you
Loved Eli in this video! He’s so passionate about his bees 🥹
I’ve never seen or met a beekeeper that isn’t the most calm, gentle person ever. I’d trust any beekeeper with my life
I love these “We’re learning something today!” videos!
It bums me out that ANY video with Zach gets significantly less views, they're actually so enjoyable to watch! All your guy's stuff is so good 😢
I'm living through Zach fuuuuully in this video. I love y'alls willingness to dive into being a beekeeper. I hope to y'all put out more stuff like this!
I’m so scared of bees, and getting stung. I can’t believe how Zach managed to “bee” so calm!
Well done, Korndiddy! 🍯🐝 👍
I am loving this era of TryGuys 🐝🐝
oddly this has become one of my favorite videos. it's so refreshing to see someone so passionate about their job that it becomes a lifestyle instead. it's really inspirational for the early 20 year olds like myself.
If this is the kinda videos zack wants to make now, I approve.🥺♥️ I love this video
I love the cinematic nature of this one. While I love the mess around silly goofy videos, it’s nice when Zach gets to tell a story in his medium & style.
This is the most invested I have been in a Try Guys video in a long time, I love it
The meta voiceover is the bees knees 🐝♥ (And compliments Zach's energy so well)
I love that they are trying things again and doing more than food related content.
12:05 That made me tear up, I love his compassion for his bees
Bees are my favorite bug. They're so cute! I love how different the content is lately. Try guys really got better…
reminder to ppl that BetterHelp has been called out for being shady, so be weary of doing therapy with them and look into them beforehand.
im surprised that people are still taking sponsorships from them
@@bromeohotague same. not sure if them knowing and doing it anyway or them not doing any background checks is worse tbh
Woooo! Bees! Honestly I find bee videos so relaxing and also yay Zach hanging out with bees! 💚
This was fascinating! Eli was a wonderful host and very good at explaining the wonderful world of bees!
Ever since I saw the “Saving the Bees” woman I have been so bold and in love with bees. One will be flying around my coworkers and I just use my hand to guide it away and they lose their minds.
Went from a girl that screams and runs to having bees land on me and smiling/showing off.
i love how patient this guy is with teaching Zach. Probably good he's working with bees...
Sometimes, I wonder if the connection with the Try Guys brand stops these from reaching the audience that might otherwise be really into this. Zach's mini-documentaries are consistently my favorite thing that comes out from the channel and I don't know why they aren't the highest performing on the channel.
I am really liking the editing style and Zach's narration in this video!
this video already in the first 2 minutes feels so different and chill, love that. also love zach's nature narration voice lol
I like the different editing style of this video. It works well and you guys should totally explore this style more.
I love Zach’s documentary approach. This deserves more views
it's so funny that people are afraid of bees when they're SO cute
I like them from afar… not on or near me 😭
frrr like they're the cutest and chillest insects out there (well unless you anger them then goodluck ig 💀)
It’s not the honey bees I’m afraid of. It’s the wasps and hornets.
Some are allergic to them
Bees are adorable but people probably are afraid because they are allergic 😢
I was the head of the beekeeping group at my college and honestly, the only stressful part was making sure everyone had signed their waivers before getting near the bees. The actual beekeeping part was so calming and like Eli said, puzzle like. This video makes me want to try keeping again.
I love this! It's on my bucket list to learn the basics of beekeeping, it looks like such a rewarding task. ❤
Was watching this on my tv and just had to come here to leave a comment. This was such a cute & educational lil vibin' video!! Zach saying "so there's a person in there!?" about the queen inside the chrysalis was so gentle and sweet it just made me smile. Love the chill vibes, would love to see more stuff like this :)
Eli is awesome. I love the way he takes care of the bees and how he teaches Zack and us.
Wow, Eli was so informative and was amazing guiding you through this. Was a joy to watch!
Watching zack have such a calm fascination for this adventure is so awesome to watch.
I love Eli’s energy, and how Zach vibes with him!! The vibees are immaculate 🐝🫶✨
I used to live on a farm and we had lots of hives that we tended to. It was a really relaxing task compared to all the other things we did. And I swear, the bees begin to recognize you by your smell or something. Because we almost never had to use smoke to work with them.
Eli seems so gentle and genuine! Loved his vibe.
I would have liked to have heard his take on the global bee crisis, and what can be done.
I appreciate how passionate Eli is about the bees that he helps.
I love this episode! Would watch a whole series of this! 5 more please lol. 🐝🐝🐝
I'm a beekeeper! This video was honestly uploaded at such a funny time for me personally!
I literally was at the farm I work at, in my beekeeping suit, having just stopped working in the hives, and I looked down to see this video had been uploaded. I love beekeeping and it can very intimidating to start, props to Zach for this!
(If anyone has questions or just want to hear some general beekeeping stories, I'll answer them to the best of my ability!)
Fascinating! I can feel the passion radiating from Eli. I like this vlog-type, chill, and educational video. ☺
I enjoyed seeing the bees communicate to each other that “this is the new hive”.
This is actually the most informative video about bees I have ever seen, and this comes from someone who is very much into bee content. Thank you for sharing Eli! Great to see Zack stepping out of his comfort zone.
I love how this video feels more like a small production! That's the vibes i dig most in youtube videos
This is such a fun video, I love that they're trying so many different things and exploring new video ideas!
I love these videos that are like "Zach goes on little adventures", very wholesome
This was actually really cool, I'd love to learn even more from this bee guy, wish y'all would have had a longer episode for this one
I LOVE this video content. Bees are fantastic! I’m loving the cool and interesting content the Try Guys are doing lately.
This whole video has such a nice, warm feel to it. Absolutely loved it and the bees and Eli!
I love bees so much, even named my cat Honeybee! This was such a cool and educational video :)
Love watching the Guys interact with animals of any kind!
Omg I have that exact bee suit!! I’m super new to bees, just got my first hive this year. Thanks for the reminder to go check on them today since it’s not as hot.
Zacks living his best life and I’m so happy for him
Can we talk about how awesome it is to have Zach being chill narrative? Nothing wrong with before, but he feels so authentic and asmr-ish! 😊
I noticed there was also only kid friendly language/ no cussing which was nice, this could be used as child education and I appreciate that decision on a video like this❤
I love this so much, I'm here for all the agricultural tries please 👨🌾👩🌾🧑🌾
I have a phobia of bees, and while something like this might actually a good idea for me to get over that fear, I would probably completely break down and go into a full blown panic attack. LONG STORY SHORT I am extremely impressed with how calm Zach is LMAO
I was so excited to see new content, I love bees!! More bees please!!
This video made me realize how much actually I miss my grandpa. He used to keep bees too and every time i went to meet him i would help him with the hives even though i was allergic. He was a stoic hard working man and the only times i saw him smile was when he went to greet them in the little village he worked with them together with his brothers. I learned so much from him and i hope he still keeps bees up there in heaven😊
This is such a fun video. I love bees so much that I have a bee tattoo and named my company after them. This is so interesting!
This is such a fun video! Loved the chill vibe and educational aspects. Would love to see more videos in a similar style!
I just love the videos y’all put out. I love y’all trying new things so we can all watch. This was such a cool video!
This channel is so fun. Loving the diverse content. 👏👏❤️
I love this ❤ bees are amazing!!
Loving the chill vibe Eli has going on!
As a beekeeper thank you for this!!! Bees are my passion ❤
Please, please do more videos in this style! I am contented and delighted by this. So great :)
I’ve been watching a lot of bee videos recently so it was a surprise to see this one come out from the Try Guys.
I love that they did this video. Bees are so underrated.
I really like chill educational daddy
Zach energy
Bees are one of my favorite animals and I never thought I'd see the Try Guys try Beekeeping, so this was lovely😊
Really digging this editing/video style Zach! Huge props to the team for the diverse and enthusiastic content
Loving the content lately! Would have looooved seeing Johnny and Zach together for this one! ❤
I have a feeling that would ha e been too chaotic for the bees. 😂
Zach, your joy and wonder in this video is just fantastic to see.
This was wonderful, I learned a lot! Love y'all.
I haven't watched a Try Guys video in a while but this was truly enjoyable!
Eli reminds me of a stressed lovely mother taking care of a ton of children…somewhere between 10-40 million children.
