without a recipe meatloaf starring geologist friend from clown motel is something that needs to happen
That or at least have him back as a judge !
yesssss
I think that Guy is too busy but that's a cute Idea
YESS LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN
Right?! Like they aren’t getting away without doing a without a recipe meatloaf now
I love that Shayne and Ryan are considered “the professionals” 😂
they are definitely the most serious and thorough who try for intelligent proof out of all the youtube investigators by far
@@-streaminadream-5356serious!??? 😂 Ryan was barking like a dog last week. I do love them.
@@ArtemisArcheress the barking took me back to one of their last (possibly their last) unsolved video where ryan and shane crawled up the stairs meowing and pretending to be cats.
I love them but their not professionals nor the best in that PLclip realm for me
Honestly I wanna see more videos where Zach goes to supposedly haunted place and does everything he can to not make it a ghost hunting video 🤣
This is the way 😂
Yessss new series!
I want him doing it at a place where shane and ryan are actively ghost hunting
Christopher is such a sweetheart his passion is so infectious😭
I was thinking the same🥲he seems like he sees the good side of everything
I happy teared up at his section at the end too 🥺
Omg yes!
Zach is such a great storyteller. He connects to people. Atlas Obscura needs to sponsor this series.
YES!! This!!
so cool that they chatted to so many people during the trip and were just curious about their lives in such a kind, respectful way
Well I certainly learned about some new shots 😮
Christopher deserves more compliments in these comments!!! "You're a cool human being" "I try to be" was so sincere, he seems like an all around sweetheart ❤
LOLLL the entire time i was saying how much i love Christopher
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: Zach is a phenomenal story teller. He knows how to make you feel things. Over a clown motel in the desert!
Zack just going weird places and making weird friends is the most chaotic extrovert vibes I’ve seen in a long time and I love it.
I swear Zach is meant to make content that changes peoples perspectives. Personal Message to Zach: I hope everything is going okay mentally and physically with all the terrible stuff on media right now. Take care of yourself.
Oh no!! What's going on with him in the media? Am I just not aware of something??
@@danielleisraelsenThey are referring to the war in palestine, news of which has been especially emotionally painful to palestinians and jewish people across the globe for various reasons.
Can I just say Christopher’s story and the owners story is honestly beautiful! Like Christopher just wanting to make people happy and bring people joy, and the owners working with his struggles so that he can do that and have stable living, and the owners using something they love to bring others joy and bring people smiles. These 3 men are honestly what all humanity should strive to be
I LOVE this format. Zach is so good at rolling with weirdness and bringing out the charm in people, like that geologist and Christopher are such delightful characters. If this is an ongoing series I'm stoked, and I've got some hometown weirdness for you to get down with!
1:59 Love that Zach essentially challenged Ryan and Shane to investigate the Clown Motel. Get on it, Ghoul Boys 🤡👻
When I saw the title my first thought was to wonder how long it would take to mention the Ghoul Boys XD
Didn't Ryan say one of his worst fears was waking up to see someone staring at him in the dark?
This might be my favorite Try Guys episode ever. The organic meets, the interview style... side quests for the win!
Why is Kwesi not an official Try Guy? He's such a great addition to the group!
I think it they are trying to drop the being a try guys and more like being part of the try guy team.
I think the Try Guys will forever be a thing just for the OG members, but instead of having just three people on the channel, it’s a whole team behind them. Without them being “official Try Guys”.
Love this idea although I've always thought Try Guys would be better as three.. as in.. Tri.. Guys 😂
What a wide range of patrons! An ex firefighter, a geologist, ravers etc. it’s so beautiful to see
so wholesome! first seeing kwesi's adorable wife?!?! and then the man who's at the clown hotel because it has comfy beds? who loves meatloaf? to the owners who are like 'what profit?'
loved all of this so so so much.
you can really see zack's passion for making movies and telling stories in this. this is truly beautiful, definitely one of my new favorites videos now ❤️
I would love this as a series. Zach and Kwesi checking out unique places and interviewing random people at them.
Omg yes! Next should be Area 51 but getting to know the culture behind the creepy. I love learning about interesting and unique history or places like this
Same. I'd watch that series for sure.
Same!!
Yes 💯💯💯
he said this is part of a new series
This has to be the best Try Guys video ever. The people you met were like people you'd only meet once in your lifetime. And totally the people who would love this hotel. I love this. It's so chaotic.
Start a petition to get Ryan and Shayne to the Clown Motel
Christopher is such a sweet guy. I hope things are always improving for him
I love that Kwesi was silently laughing behind the camera that it's shaking 😂
I'm actually obsessed with Zach's production style its so incredible
Someone tell me why I'm getting emotional over a clown motel.
I love Zach's ability/willingness to talk to other people and learn their story without asking super invasive questions. Just "Why do you like clowns?" and suddenly you're helping a geologist move rooms because there's no AC and he loves staying at the motel because the beds are comfortable and he has a wife that loves meatloaf. It's so funny and unexpectedly wholesome, especially when a lot of content creators are farming for the most shocking content. And here's Zach meeting people where they are, and it's great because people are largely very interesting if you ask the right questions! I love this!!!
same I just really love the way this video portrays this place that is made out to be creepy be so full of love and warmth.
and Zach's narration and his overall vibe in this video is just really lovely.
this is such a good way of describing why the vibes on this channel feel so immaculate compared to many other content channels
its so authentic. theres no pressure to find the most entertaining or chocking content, they treat everyone like theyre human. its so genuine and nice :’)
Plus, the people he and Kwesi found are just awesome.
12:43 WITHOUT A RECIPE MEATLOAF
Ahhh! Side Quest feels like a series this channel has been missing! can't wait to see more
it surprised me how sincere this video felt??? and i love how you met so many interesting people!
I want more about this place. Christopher seems like a delight, he was a FIREFIGHTER so one of the best people to exist job-wise, and he has a fun clown-like laugh. He needs to be in more things. I adore him.
Zach’s documentary style videos and commentary are so great and his research going in shows his level of commitment
My boyfriend and I stayed here, and everyone told us we were crazy! My boyfriend swears he woke up in the night to a dark figure at the end of our bed, but I slept like a baby.
Update: our room did not look like theirs haha. We just had creepy renditions of presidents as clowns for artwork
This was honestly just super wholesome. It goes to show that a lot of “creepy” or “macabre” or “unusual” interests can come from the kindest people.
Ya hit the nail on the head! I collect oddities and "creepy/macabre/spooky" things as do many of my friends. We all look super alternative and "scary" to some (one friend has his eyes tattooed black and horn implants!) but they are THE NICEST, WARMEST, MOST DOWN TO EARTH, ACCEPTING PEOPLE YOU WILL EVER MEET 😭💖💖💖💖💖
It's so true! The people who are most into horror and the macabre are extremely wholesome people, a prime example being Junji Ito--he was scwred of cats, so both to explore that and quench his fear he drew them often, especially in his mangas, and eventually came to appreciate them despite his fear. Because we can find joy in the darkness of things, and therefore darkness in everything, we have no trouble finding the light in everything too
I absolutely love this kind of video series!! The casual interviewing and just getting to know people and sharing their stories, this is the kind of stuff that inspires me to continue with cinematography and video production! Love this and I hope it becomes a series!!!
A Zach and narrated road trip vlog is actually so comforting
This video was such a delight? USA is full of super quirky places like this and Zach was the perfect host/presenter. ❤ loved Kwesi's wife begging him to protect Kwesi on this weirs trip 😂
Zach interviewing real people is the best thing ever.
I was expecting a ghost hunters like show.
I appreciate the... documentary, humanitarian, story telling about people. Thats really cool. It made me smile.
Thanks Zach and Kwesi, I'd love to see more like this.
I love how this is way more in-depth than just "We went to a clown motel. Here's some footage of our hijinx". You chatted with people, dug into the motel further, toured rooms, chatted with the owners. Really well done, Kwesi and Zach!
That's what I loved about this. Hearing about people and history.
Christopher is so sweet. This whole video is amazing. Honestly made me cry a little.
You should do a geology video with that geologist dude, he seems super chill.
Christopher looks like a really fun guy I would love to listen to him talking more about clowns
Christopher is just having a great time. I love seeing people who have found their ‘thing’ in life, and he was so open to share. Everyone in this video seemed so accommodating too!
Please put “don’t haunt me until I’ve had my coffee” on merch 🤣
i love it when zach gets to direct videos, he has such a unique and appealing style
Yes!! I feel like ppl sleep on his videos because they’re not the usual kind of directing but he makes my fave videos
yeah i really like the videos he has complete creative control over. his NYC video is one of my favorites. his directive style reminds me a bit of Yes Theory in the way that he likes to highlight people and what makes them unique. i'm sure they take a while to film, but i'd love to see more stuff like this on the channel.
YES!
100%, his videos feel the most polished and deep. I would love a series where Zach does more of this and what he did in NYC. TRY guys content is always fun but I feel like Zach’s content specifically tries to make you think a little deeper.
So true!
The fact that my favorite part was the people you guys met, shows that there’s good people out there even if they seem a little spooky at first.
love the documentary style video. and not what i expected from a video about a clown motel. this was surprisingly heartwarming.
This video just drips Zac energy, the style of the video, the wholesome vibes and the lessons we learned along the way
Wow, I knew this would be a fun video, i didnt know it was going to be THIS good! To echo what other people have said, this is a favourite from the Try Guys, and highlights Zach's talents ❤️
This comment is specifically for Zach. This sir, is easily my most favorite video that you’ve ever made. I hope there will be more of these bc you were absolutely in your bag. The documentary style with humor and heart. Chefs kiss my friend. 5 stars hands down. 🙌🏾💫🤩
This is absolutely one of my favorite videos the try guys have done. It was such an interesting thing to go to what is seen as a scary place and instead focus on the people there. Zach and Kwesi found wonderful people who were passionate about clowns, meatloaf, and rocks. We learned about Christopher's life and how he ended up working in a place that actually meets his needs. I'll definitely rewatch this again and again.
Me too. Absolutely up there in top 3.
simple but effective storytelling with just great vibes
This really is all i could ever ask for from a PLclip video. Thank you for gracing us with this. Love you guyssss
“Whenever you’re down look at the clown you don’t have to be frown” how adorable!!!!
I love how all of the people around the motel seem so much fun to hang out with. Each of them are their own characters lmao
christopher is such a kind soul and i just wanna give him a big hug
I love Zach's little documentary style videos, he has such a unique perspective and voice. so quirky and endearing.
As someone whose mother became a clown to cope with bereavement and who lived in an actual clown house, this is too relatable.
WHAT. Please elaborate, because that sounds crazy. (I hope she's okay though)
You should write a story/personal essay about that. Call it "Send in the clowns"
So sorry for you guys's lost💔 Prayers and condolences to them and all your families, friends and loved ones❤ Praying for your mom, hope she's safe and okay❤
@@julesoxana she is! It is actually one of those grim/ funny stories, you know?
omg please explain
I’d love a series like this about odd roadside attractions! It is so fun and sweet. It felt refreshing to take a creepy place and just ask genuinely “why do you like it” to everyone.
I’m so pumped that Zach said this is the first of a new series, because I will happily watch Zach and Kwesi go on road trips and interview people and become friends with them all day.
I'm impressed with this video. When I compare this to some earlier videos Zach has orchestrated, it's evident that he's improved immensely. This is an interesting, warm-hearted documentary and feels so much more professional than some videos a couple of years ago.
this was so much deeper and heartwarming than i expected!! love this series :)
The way my face lit up when he said "i dont really care about that, i will leave that to the professionals" *pop - photo of shane and ryan* 😂 lol. As a huge Watcher fan it was a nice touch ❤
The geologist guy seemed delightful, meatloaf is a fun idea!
Agreed! Meatloaf is such a good idea! I think they could do a season of comfort foods!😊
YES! I was like "omg what if they got Meatloaf to judge?!" and then I remembered 😔 RIP Marvin Lee Aday 1947-2022
please do meatloaf! for the geologist and us!
This idea would be amazing if they brought Eugene back in to participate. I can only imagine what his mind would come up with.
I never had meatloaf. What does it taste like?
I love this format!! I enjoyed the arc of "isn't this ridiculous" to "wait, everyone here is having a great time." Looking forward to more side quests!
Everyone in this video was so sweet and Zach did such a good job showing their personalities! Also I've never seen such an entertaining ad 😂 good job keith!
I adore this video! Zach finds the humanity in everyone, and makes them shine. Zach is a gem , and I would love more videos like this!
And shout out to Christopher, the owners, and all the staff at that motel. Such cool people.
Can we have more videos of Zach and Kwesi exploring funky places? This is really cool, one of the few Try Guys videos I’ve specifically come back to watch a second time.
I would go here just for the hospitality! Christopher & the owners all really seem like good people❤️
This video is actually shockingly touching. The fact that you took the time to see the humanity in the people at this place is quite moving. Kwesi and Zach are a super wholesome duo.
I love hearing people stories from unique places. I wish you guys do more. Thank you & much love 🥰
this is such a unique video format compared to their previous ones and its so fun to watch!!!
This was lovely! Thank you so much to Zak and the editors for choosing to center the human stories, it's just SO interesting to see how people characterize themselves within such a short time frame, the married couples and how they met and what they're up to recently. It's like a short film, a slice of life. I look forward to more of these "side quest" episodes, for sure! :D
I did not expect a video about a clown motel to make me a little teary eyed!! What an incredibly sweet video, love it :)
you can really tell how much christopher enjoys his job just by listening to him give zach and kwesi a tour and the way he tells his stories. listening to him was so precious
I could never have expected how wholesome this video is! Big fan of whatever's cooking here
Omg I just LOVED this video! Your tour guide was a cutie, so enthusiastic for his craft. Now I wanna go to this creepy ass motel. I could not have slept in that room lmfao
Please keep this series and go to more odd places!!
Loved this video! I thought it was gonna be gimmicky, but it was so genuine. Zach and Kwesi are a great duo for talking to new people.
oh, what a great silly sweet video! You met some pretty cool people, and Christopher seems like a gem!
I love Zach’s approach to documentary style videos. This was an absolute delight
Wow. Great work. I am very proud of Zack for making such a documentary. It’s been awesome seeing his evolution since Try Guys were on BuzzFeed. Especially to see the addition Kwesi, the POC voice and ideas that was missing. Also, it was very emotional Lee thoughtful. Thank you for adding to the space.
He approaches subjects with such a delightful openness. Is it corny to say he's developing as a director? MORE PLEASE!
This was unexpectedly wholesome 😭
Omg I didn't know I needed more spooky guys content!! Keep it coming pleaseeeee!
I'm stoked for this new series! Loved loved loved ❤ this video.
Kwesi’s wife keeping the evil spirits away. I love it
The way this video was edited and was shot scratches a part of my brain so good. I wouldn't mind seeing more of Zach and Kwesi's adventures exploring different locations and interviewing its owners or staff.
I love geologists, they always get themselves into funny situations to go look at their rocks and minerals. Regularly staying at a clown motel because the beds are good and close to where they're studying is on par with every geologist I've met
fr out of all the scientists, theyre definitely the nerdiest but most fun to be around
@athaya2992 LMAO speaking as a chemist, I agree 😂 I'm so tired of my peers, all of us have sticks up our 🍑 lololol
I consider being a geologist such a dating green flag LOL. They just seem different. Geologists hmu let's be friends lol
Zach seems like he's just such a sweet guy. Pure cinnamon roll
Zach actually has such a good doco voice
This has to be one of the most underrated TG videos ever! Phenomenal work! I viewed it and I was looking forward to haunted stuff but it turned out a surprise it wasn't! Really beautiful video, love Z and K pairing (as video hosts)!
I was honestly not expecting this to be so heartfelt ❤
This is genuinely such a heartwarming video.
Zach and Kwesi adventures always make my day brighter 😂
The second I started watching the merman video I was hoping there would be more videos with this duo!!! Kwesi and Zach have a great youthful/fun energy
@@vickrice6082 that was a beautiful episode they both looked hot 🥵🤣 and yeah I just love their crazy adventures together 🤣
They have the best "let's do it" energy.
This so well done. Thank you for sharing!❤
Wasn’t sure what to expect for this vid, but this is a great concept for the channel! As a kid who grew up in a B&B that my parents owned and ran, I LOVE this!! 🧡
The Try Guys should try ghost hunting with Shane and Ryan
Another side quest for you: the Seattle underground city. It's so cool. All of the downtown of Seattle burnt down once upon a time and instead of rebuilding it where it was, they rebuilt a story above with some wild side effects in the process of doing so. So there's this whole burned, Edwardian era underground city 15 feet below downtown Seattle. There's a tour company that has some sections of it, you know, tamed, but they only are in charge of a few sections. Even just their part is fascinating, but if you could get to see more that'd be SO COOL
The editing of this video is absolute magic. Thanks!
Came for the clowns stayed for Zach explaining to a chill geologist what a PLclipr is 😂
I love this new series with Zach, excited to see where they go next :)
Im so happy yall mentioned The boys as im a fan of you and them
Absolutely terrified of clowns, but I had to watch this. Damn Zach and Kwesi are so wholesome. From the casually helping someone switch rooms, to Kwesi telling someone what a good person they are. Loved this, hope it becomes a regular series!!
This is actually brilliant, I love this documentary style and these people featured, its genuinely interesting and I feel like I'm learning. I have not seen this kind of content on youtube, well done team!!
