As someone that works at a dog rescue, I really appreciate that Kimbop is different than what Eugene thought but he still kept him. The amount of dogs that are returned because of this (even years later) is devastating.
my dog when i got her they told us she was calm and reserved. she is the most energetic goober i’ve ever had. i love her to pieces and she is my baby. even though she wasn’t what i expected i’d never give her up for anything
Agreed! Animals are just that, animals. They are unpredictable and won’t always fit perfectly in your family. You have to be understanding and ready for this commitment. I wish more people realized how traumatic it is to be put back in shelter for these reasons.
This is why shelters should immediately disclose any behavioural issues or quirks. It will just stress the dog more to go through the heartache of being returned, and I think it wouldn't be an easy decision on the owner who feels like they failed the dog.

@@kimmiebraunthal4874 I’m a mix of both my dogs I’d say. I have a Cane Corso who’s going into his senior years, he’s a massive couch potato and I just got a Dalmatian puppy who wants to work all the time. I’m just a mix of both of them I’d say.

She has to do that so she can provide her fake service over the internet to rake in the cash. If she only worked with real pets, only people in the area could come to her and fall for her scam. This way lonely people all over the world can spend money on her lies.
I love the try guys but did not care for this video. "He looked to me being in a mode of transportation." Then listed off multiple modes of transportation and finally like...."Has he been on an airplane?"...Also I have lived with cats my entire life and I could have "read" Alfred just as good as she did. I am very open minded but this was just insane.
Right? There are definitely ways to communicate with pets through reading their body language and recognizing cues. I wish they got an animal behaviorist instead.
My best friend was born psychic and he can read a stranger just by looking at a picture of them. I have shown him pictures of close people in my life he doesn't know anything about and hasn't met yet and he has read them like an open book. He has left me in shock by the amount of details he has revealed about those people that only I know about. They are 100% accurate.
Humans are ignorant and tend to mock what is unknown to them, but spiritual gifts I have witnessed first hand are definitely not science fiction. Humanity is just not at a point yet where they can understand or believe in spiritual gifts, because they're still living so much in their ego that they refuse to use their intuition.

As for this video, this lady either said the most generic stuff or things you could easily find out by watching the try guys videos or following them on social media. Morever, often she even asks questions to gain more information and then use that.

To train Bowie out of barking when people come to the door, instead of stopping the reaction you can teach him to change his response.
When theres someone at the door ask him to go get a toy. Spend some time conditioning the sound of a knock/doorbell to the response. If they go and get a toy they cant stand and bark, but they still get to do something to show how excited they are that someone has come to see them ❤

Because psychics don’t always meet people in person to read them. They connect through the energy that resides in objects or photos. It’s just how it works. Not everything is easily explained when it comes to energy or spirit. Many real and professional psychics only use photos. The photos capture more than you think. But you are free to think and believe as you want. I am just trying to help you understand more about the use of photos.
She's good at reading their owners and general animal stereotypes. It's not hard.
@@vamplord4000 Those "professionals" only use photos for a simple reason: Profit. If their costumers were restricted to only people in their area, they would earn less money with their scam. Through photos they can have people from all over the world pay them for some lies.
"Many other scammers also do it like that" is not at all an argument against this one being a scam. Which she is.
The photo + a name is to make sure your connecting to the correct animal! You use energy and a few other things to connect properly! I am an animal healing practitioner and use similar techniques except actually healing emotional and physical parts not just communication! Hope that helps!

Keith: A sudden/drastic change in a cat's (Or any animal's behaviour), you should go to a vet. When our cat got ridiculously hungry and going for the trashbag/our food, we took him in and found out he had hyperthyroidism.
I'm also really disappointed that the woman did not do a disclaimer that she was not a licensed veterinary behaviorist, aka someone who's gone to school for years to learn various animal's behaviors. But after hearing how she basically does a seance with the pet's photo and wasn't even with them for the psychic 'talk'... Well, I hope people know the difference between spending money for fun vs. spending it for actual usefulness.

This is every_ psychic but yeah her cold reading is particularly unpolished and obvious. Also guess that a pet will have a lot of their owner's personality (calm, anxious, energetic, etc.). And her reading that Zach was going to have kids and then him being like 'no' and she just doubled back.

Honestly, listening to psychics prattle on is so tiring. They just make observations anyone can make but 'they're so special because it's a magical ability'. She sounds so full of herself and is so in love with the sound of her own voice, I couldn't finish watching it.

I really liked Ellie in the cow hugging video, the way she values animals is really beautiful and you can tell she's extremely passionate about what she does at Gentle Barn, but I've never been one to believe in psychics. If other people like it, that's cool, I just think it's hard to not appear scammy when they, as you said, make super vague and general observations anyone could say.

Cold reading is using general information to make it seems like it's about a specific person - like saying "I sense that there is a browned haired person in your life that makes you very happy" - this is extremely generalized. Brown hair is the most common hair color on the planet, so statistically speaking, there is SOMEONE in your life with brown hair that makes you happy in SOME capacity. Then you have hot reading, which is something that can be easily done with the guys - hot reading is researching information about a person before performing the read. Getting information about their pets off of instagram, for example, is easy. She would have been booked beforehand, so she would of had plenty of time to research the pets before ever appearing on camera.

The Guy's pets are adorable, and I am glad there are places like the Gentle Barn. The woman said nothing that wasn't either super obvious or true of well-adjusted pets. Psychics are not a (real) thing although exploiting people's credulity is. I wish they would not pander to that.
My best to little Emma, hope she's coping well despite her health issues. I loved that the guys (as always) gave this a try and especially seeing Eugene again is so great. However, I will say, that while this lady no doubt does provide a lot of care to animals, that's just about it. She isn't communicating with your pet in the way that she wants you to believe and your pet isn't talking to her. Even if it were possible to do that I highly doubt she would be able to do so simply by looking at a picture of them. The story of her telling a woman not to leave her husband because her 'dog said so' gives me similar vibes as human psychics telling you they can connect you to your passed loved ones. It may make a person feel better momentarily, but it's fraudulent in nature and can very easily take advantage of vulnerable people. Love you guys, but I really wish you had considered a more scientific approach to understanding pet behaviour.

Fish fart to communicate when they swim in a large group like that, it isn't intuition.
Begging to eat human food is usually a sign of whisker pain, their whiskers are attached to nerves- very sensitive. The sides of a food bowl can push against their whiskers that can be extremely painful.
- Pushing the food towards one side of the bowl. This way the nerve pain is only on one side of their face, and they are still capable of swallowing their food.
- Eating as fast as possible, so the pain won't last as long.
- Reluctant to eat out of their bowl and begging humans for food. Because your hand and or dinner plate doesn't push against their whiskers.
I don't want to be a hater. It's just... Harmful to take this type of approach towards animal care. You feel validated by the anwser, " your food just smells too good, I can't resist!" . Naw man, your cat is getting older and the nerve pain from the bowl is getting unbearable. Feed him from a heavy plate or a shallow large bowl, being careful as animals tend to stand on the plate with their paws. Regular human dinner plates tend to be heavy enough, push onto it to test it does not flip with some weight.
How can you NOT get in to Emma’s traumatic experiences 😭😭😭😭

Decades ago, I consulted a pet psychic once, when my cat went missing for 26 days. Everyone told me to get over it because after weeks of trying to find him by searching the neighborhood, he was nowhere to be found. But I wouldn't give up. I can't explain it but I felt my cat calling to me for help, and I knew he was alive, but we were running out of time. The pet psychic described a building on my block (this was before google earth/online mapping). I went to look, but couldn't see or hear anything from outside, and the neighbor was away on a sabbatical. But they returned 2 days later, and discovered my cat in the hood of their engine, trapped in their underground garage for a month. We don't know how he survived. He was skin and bones but he in fact made a full recovery. The vet said even another 24 hours he might not have made it. Coincidence? Maybe. But I feel like the psychic described the situation exactly. Who knows. He lived another 10 years after he was found, to the ripe old age of 20. I don't know how to explain what happened but it did.

I really appreciate highlighting the intuitive community. I love what she said about trusting yourself fully. I'm 34 and have always been intuitive and sensitive to energies, but shoved it down. Now, I'm starting to own it and realizing it's a gift we all have to some degree and an important one connecting us all to each other.

This is low key reminding me of the story of my grandma's dog who was really bitter. They got a trainer after a whole week of listening, altering routines and scolding my grandparents the trainer finishes and proudly guarantees them she'll never bite again, and just as he's getting into his car she tears out of their house and bites him right in the leg.

Just for the record, schools of fish use a mix of their eyes and their lateral line system to school efficiently. It's not intuition, just a heightened sense of where other fish are and how the water is moving around them. It's pretty fascinating!
